Physical Therapy

In physical therapy, we focus on gross motor skills which may be affected by development of the musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardio-respiratory, or integumentary systems. Examples of medical diagnonses that we treat in our clinic include, but are not limited to: Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and developmental delays related to muscle tone or other impairments. Treatment includes play-based therapeutic exercise with the development of an "exercise" program for parents to follow at home. Other techniques include soft tissue mobilization, strengthening, and manual facilitation of transitional movements.
